I began my massage journey at California Holistic Institute in 2013. We were extremely blessed to have two teachers who were both retired nurses, with experience of 20 and 30 years! They both have their own massage therapy office and teach massage. One taught our anatomy class, and the other taught kinesiology and physiology.
Massage school is where I discovered massage therapy is about physical AND emotional well-being. Balance really is key to a happy and healthy life.
After School I started working at The Spa at Madonna Inn, in San Luis Obispo, California.
We had intense training with protocol massages and treatments, and a lot of attention to detail! I really appreciate my experience there.
In 2017, I moved to Oahu! I worked at a local resort spa for three years until the pandemic forced me to stop in March 2020. I also worked at two local offices, performing medical massage at one.
By October 2020, the mobile massage business was created! I'm proud to have served many grateful and wonderful clients during those trying pandemic years.
I combine resort spa with clinical massage, to give you balanced and soothing massage therapy and bodywork.
I have recently completed three orthopedic cupping, continued education courses, as well as a neck fascia and cupping course in July 2023. In August 2024, I became a Certified Flexologist. All my certifications can be found on the website.
In September 2023, I completed 16 hours of a Treating Trapped Nerves course. The class was taught by Dr. Erik Dalton, a certified myoskeletal therapist, and founder of the Freedom From Pain Institute. He also studied under Ida Rolf. I'm really excited about my new nerve gliding/flossing skills and I can't wait to work on you!
This two hour treatment consists of orthopedic cupping which is static (stationary) and dynamic (moving) cupping with silicone cups. This is focused on the wonderful fascial layer that covers everything! The variety of cups offer different modalities and pressure levels. The next phase is myofascial decompressing with the suction gun cups. The cups are placed on the targeted problem areas and the client will move the specific muscle group or groups. Cupping helps to stimulate circulation and lymph to flush out cellular debris and toxins. The treatment also consists of regular massage catered to client's pressure preference.
Any specific nerve pain will also be treated with nerve flossing/gliding techniques.
This treatment should leave clients with a greater ROM (range of motion). Clients should feel relief!
This 90 minute treatment consists of hands and forearms, warm stones, and the Heat Wave Synergy Stone. Hot stone stimulates blood vessels, oxygen and bio-nutrients needed for active healing. Recommended for relaxation, after events or intense physical activity.
This treatment is for lovers of deep tissue! It's 90 minutes of deep tissue massage and heated bamboo. The heat stimulates circulation, bringing in oxygen rich blood to help promote healing. The bamboo rolls out muscles and knots.
This treatment is 60 minutes of dry massage consisting of compressions and gentle kneading, as well as gentle shiatsu on pressure points. Client can be seated in a wheel chair, or on the massage table if possible. Can be side lying.
This treatment includes gentle static (stationary) and dynamic (moving) cupping, directly over the jaw joint itself. NO CUPPING MARKS ARE LEFT ON THE FACE. The client will also open and close the jaw, and move it side to side. This is a one hour treatment consisting of face, neck, shoulders, and scalp massage.
Deep Tissue Massage reaches deeper layers of muscles. It is used to release knots and relieve pressure points through careful prolonged deep pressure, wringing and stripping the muscle. This massage is beneficial for athletes, construction workers, and anyone using muscles in locked up positions for extended periods of time. If you've been in a car accident, sports injury, strains, tears, all build scar tissue over time. It's good to really get in deep and calm tense muscles, loosen adhesions caused by injury and inflammation, leaving clients feeling much less tight and improving ROM.
The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension and increase the blood flow to your heart. It is much more of a relaxation lighter pressure massage. Swedish Massage is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle toxins, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body.
Known as 'the loving hands massage', and consists of forearm with medium pressure and manual stretching. In no way do I claim to be a lomi lomi expert. I do spa style lomi lomi, much more for relaxation. It is fluid and flowing movement.
Typically a lighter pressure massage. Okay to go a little deeper in those tight shoulder and back areas. Very good for relaxation for mom and baby, releasing all those feel good hormones! Help regulate circulation, calm breathing, and reduce swelling in hands, feet and ankles.

I BRING THE BALANCE TO YOU! HELPING YOU PUT YOUR BEST SELF FORWARD!
Please wait to book a massage 3 days after a flight. If no symptoms of illness after 2-3 days then massage is okay. Norovirus is a good example why. (Yes! I do still vaccinate for covid, as well as flu).
Hau'oli makahiki hou! Happy New Year!
